The A404 STEALTH is a packable lightweight waterproof jacket constructed with Pertex® Shield’s 3-layer laminate.

Designed with input from special forces around the globe. The A404 STEALTH jacket is a three-Layer outer shell constructed using Pertex® Shield, a quiet & flexible fabric with impeccable breathability, waterproof, & windproof performance.

The design and fit keep the operator in mind. The two large front pockets have dual opening zips, providing flexibility and internal slots provide convenient storage for mobile or comms units.

The jacket features conceal adjustment points at the hood and waist to give maximum comfort without impeding the operator’s movements. These adjusters allow the large peaked hood to be finely adjusted to cover the operator’s head without compromising their peripheral vision.

The breathability is further augmented with the inclusion of two underarm waterproofed ventilation zips allowing operators to heat dump on the move, remaining comfortable and focused.

Traditionally 3 layer waterproof jackets are notorious for being rigid, loud and lacking in breathability.

We set out to change this with the A404 Stealth by finding an incredibly comfortable fabric that is not only highly waterproof and breathable, but quiet, flexible and comfortable simultaneously.

Pertex Shield

PERTEX® SHIELD Fabrics provide lightweight waterproof protection whilst remaining highly breathable.

3-layer constructions combine lightweight face fabrics with waterproof, windproof and breathable membranes. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish applied to the face fabric sheds rain and snow, which helps to maintain breathability.

How waterproof is the Arktis A404 Stealth?

The A404 Stealth uses a 3-layer Pertex shield which is rated to 20,000mm HH (Waterproof Rating) & 20,000 g/m² (Breathability Rating)

Does it have zips?

Yes, YKK aquaguard zips under each arm for added ventilation.

How does it fit?

The A404 Stealth is an outer shell & is cut to allow for a wide range of mobility. If you plan on wearing body armour or thick layers underneath, you should consider sizing up. Each size has a 5cm grade, please refer to the size chart below.
