Tactical Solutions is about to open a brand new Hub in Wellington, located in Trentham. A detailed Job Description will be provided but the key responsibilities include:

• Opening and closing the shop
• Running the shop – occasionally on a sole charge basis
• Friendly Customer service – instore, phone and email
• Liaising with the marketing department and executing store-led campaigns
• Preparing POS material
• Creating displays
• Keeping the shop looking clean and shiny
• Restocking items
• Sending out orders
• Testing gear, from time to time, and being able to do short reviews
• Keeping all the relevant records necessary in a busy retail shop
• Assistance with storeroom duties as required

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

To be considered, you must demonstrate that you meet the following qualities and requirements:

• An interest in Defence, Law Enforcement, EMS, Tactical or other front-line environments.
• Work well in a team but be happy to run the shop on your own at times
• Be motivated, resourceful and enthusiastic
• Take pride in what you do, and pride in your employer’s brand and reputation
• Be able to follow instructions
• Display a confident and well-presented appearance and style
• Communicate well – be punctual – be present
• Be well organised and methodical with a keen attention to detail
• Be prepared to have fun

Previous retail and merchandising experience would be very useful, as would experience in any of the front-line environments we strongly relate to.

You must have a clean Police employment vetting check, and a clean NZ Driver’s licence.
