- 420HC Stainless Steel
- An improved, high-carbon (HC) form of 420 stainless steel that works well with high production tooling. 420HC's strength is optimized in Leatherman multi-tools by heat treatment.
DLC Coating
- DLC (diamond like coating) is a carbon-based coating that displays some of the unique properties of natural diamond. It is applied for scratch and corrosion resistance.

Leatherman USA have made the decision to remove sheaths from most of their products. This decision was made after extensive research into how consumers use their tools, which found that a high number of people do not use sheaths or prefer a different one to that supplied.
Therefore, from now on please be aware that if you receive a sheath with your product, it is a bonus while our stock lasts.
